Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Sales Associate to join our sales team. This role is ideal for someone eager to receive sales mentorship, take ownership of their career path, and grow within a technical, service-oriented industry. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing new leads, managing the sales process, and turning small wins into long-term strategic accounts — including large, national customers. Candidates must be willing to work from our office at least four days per week and commit to learning the Electrical Safety industry in depth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and outbound prospecting
- Qualify and nurture prospects through early-stage discovery conversations
- Learn and confidently represent our electrical safety services, including NFPA 70E and 70B requirements
- Use the CRM to manage pipeline, set tasks, track activity, and document interactions.
- Build, send, and follow up on customized proposals
- Communicate regularly with prospects and customers via phone and email
- Schedule and follow through on tasks, meetings, and follow-ups throughout the sales cycle
- Attend occasional customer visits or travel to meetings as needed
- Take ownership of career development moving from a Sales Associate to a top-level Account Executive
- Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership to align customer needs with service delivery
- Meet or exceed activity (input) and revenue thresholds (output)
Qualifications:
- Entry level – recent college graduates, those proven to excel in sports, music or other activities.
- Strong phone presence and comfort with cold outreach
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own pipeline and priorities
- Willingness to work in-office at least 4 days per week
- Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate them clearly to customers
- Ability to learn a CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
